Gateway to Numeracy: Carlong Integrated Assessment Papers: Book 1 - Mathematics is a revision of Carlong First Year Assessment Tests: Mathematics but now features a workbook component. It also includes most of the mathematical reasoning items from the much-loved Carlong First Year Assessment Tests: Mental Ability.

The mathematical concepts are covered in Units 1 to 15. These units focus on the topics of the Grade 1 curriculum, while the last unit tests the students' reasoning and problem-solving skills over 10 exciting but progressively challenging test papers. Attempts have been made to make the material applicable to the entire English-speaking Caribbean.
